January 9, 2025 has been designated as a National Day of Mourning to honor James Earl Carter, Jr., the 39th President of the United States of America.
A number of court hearings are scheduled on the morning of January 9, 2025, and those hearings WILL go forward as scheduled. All other court operations (intake, case administration help desk, etc.) will be closed on January 9th in recognition of the Day of Mourning.
The court’s electronic filing system remains available on days in which the court is administratively closed, as are filing mechanisms for unrepresented parties, as described on the court’s website.
